Feed & shred
Sorted plastic goes in and is cut into small pieces.

Pyrolysis
400–550 °C, no oxygen. Plastic turns to vapour, not smoke.

Condense
Vapour cools into pyrolysis oil.

Self-fuelled
Leftover gas fires the burner. Oil and char are collected.
